Danna Hochstein Mann heads OurCrowd’s Global Investor Relations team. In this capacity she is responsible for overseeing the relationship between more than 7,000 investors worldwide and the OurCrowd crowdfunding platform. Mann’s team has conducted over 200 events around the world involving many thousands of participants. She is responsible for the $100M+ in investments in a portfolio of 60 companies, that has made OurCrowd the world’s largest crowdfunding platform.
Before joining OurCrowd, Mann was the former VP Business Development at JVP, one of Israel’s leading Venture capital firms. In this role, Danna was responsible for the development and ongoing management of the JVP Media Quarter, home to fund offices, portfolio companies, nonprofit organizations, restaurants and more. She was instrumental in securing diverse partnerships and positioning the Media Quarter as a destination for international government and corporate leaders seeking a demonstration of Israel’s innovation and technology leadership. Previously, Danna was Senior Manager of Investor Relations & Marketing at JVP. Prior to JVP, Danna was a senior member of the Global Marketing Department of The Estee Lauder Companies and Human Resources Manager for Banter, an Israeli start-up acquired by IBM.
Danna is an active philanthropist and serves as Chairperson of PresenTense Israel. PresenTense is the leading Jewish Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator sponsored by the Schusterman Foundation, Leichtag Foundation, Morningstar Foundation and others and partners with Cisco, Citi Bank Innovation Lab, Taqwin Labs and more. She has been responsible for the formation of hundreds of new social businesses and non-profit organizations. Danna was named to the Israeli Daily Makor Rishon’s list of the 150 top Israeli leaders under 35.
Danna Mann is regular speaker at global events, where she combines a deep knowledge of innovation, crowdfunding and the Israeli Technology Scene. Viola Werner of Credit Suisse's Global Marketing Services, said of Danna that her "incredibly smart, sharp thoughts" speaking at their events "made the difference". Stav Erez of the Jerusalem Development Authority said that "people didn't stop talking about your presentation". Hadas Goldstein, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of leading Israeli OnLife magazine said of Danna's participation in their annual conference, "your pleasantness and candor on the one hand, and sharp opinions and ideas on the other, left the 700 audience members entertained and fascinated."
Danna holds an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Business Administration from the Hebrew University. At Kellogg, Danna was elected by her classmates to deliver the valedictorian address at the graduation ceremony.
