Dr Pradeep Philip is a newly appointed Partner at Deloitte Access Economics & the founder of the boutique advisory house, Ergo Consilium, advising CEOs and executives as they navigate uncertainty. He is a highly qualified and experienced executive operating at the highest levels in politics and public policy and public sector management in Australia. Pradeep is a Director of Creativity Australia and on the Creative Innovation Global Advisory Panel.
His passion lies in purposeful and values based strategy, innovation, and cultural change in organisations, focussing the attention of individuals, teams, and organisations on understanding customer and citizen needs.
With extensive experience in dealing with the most senior political and business leaders, Pradeep has significant insight into why and how decisions makers make decisions.
Pradeep was the founding CEO of LaunchVic – a company he established for the Victorian Government to invest in the infrastructure of the ecosystem to support entrepreneurs, startups, and scaleups.
Prior to LaunchVic, Pradeep held three of the Victorian Government’s most senior public servant positions. Most recently he served as the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services with an annual budget of $20 billion and 13,000 staff (2015), Secretary Department of Health (2012) and Deputy Secretary Policy and Cabinet for the Department of Premier and Cabinet (2010).
Prior to that, Pradeep worked with the Commonwealth Treasury and as Director of Policy – Office of the Prime Minister.
He also variously lectured and tutored at the University of Queensland, Griffith University and the Australian National University.
